From singing cooks, to its hand-painted menu on the wall this location screams home. I’m from Tucson a city known for its gastronomy even earning its title from UNESCO as the best 23 miles of Mexican food. This makes me a bit of a picky eater. Taco Shop’s handmade flour and corn tortillas are prepared behind the scenes and filled with amazing flavorful meats such as pastor, barbacoa and beef carne asada. For an authentic take on your order, choose your tacos “con todo”, a dash of both salsas and a glass bottle of bubbly Mexican coca-cola. Great customer service.

I am from Mexico and can truly say these tacos are 100% Mexican not Tex-Mex. I had the queso birria and the pastor ( trompo) on homemade corn tortillas. They were delicious. Just wish the green salsa had more kick it to it.

Love this taco spot! They have fresh tortillas, both flour and corn. Their charro beans are out of this world good!! I could be very happy with just those!!! The tacos are great. They have nopales!! I really liked their birria tacos. All the meats we tried were good. The sauce was great! I’m definitely coming back for the breakfast tacos. They also have bakery items, but those seem to sell out. Guess the early bird gets the concha!

No frills counter service taco joint. Stopped in for breakfast tacos and was very pleased. Great portions at a value price, will return 5/5 Bathrooms were clean 5/5 Service was perfect 5/5

Really good Mexican spot I recommend!! While getting lunch I stopped at 7 eleven and to my luck is seen this hidden jewel. I had the quesabirria and the trompo tacos with real sliced pineapple

Taco Shop is a place of peace. I walk into that establishment and I feel at home. I get the steak tacos with cheese lettuce and both of the hot sauces. Once I sit down with my tacos, nothing can ruin my day. As I type this my mouth is watering. I haven’t had Taco shop in 2 weeks and I need it. I miss it. I want it.

The pastor and barbacoa burritos were excellent; I actually prefer the pastor, it wasn't too greasy. The orange sauce has a nice flavor and kick to it, not overly spicy, green sauce is super flavorful. Reasonably priced and well worth the calories.

The breakfast tacos were delicious! The customer service was friendly and respectful! They cooked the eggs right there in front of you with the meat. They put gloves on before serving you. The coffee was good! The Taco Shop is located in Southlake. Their flour tortillas were delicious too. My kids enjoyed the rice and beans too. I really appreciated the meal and service. I’ll for sure be back.
